Our Story

I started Timeless Patents with a simple idea: to honor the history of innovation through nostalgic art.

What began as an admiration for vintage patent drawings evolved into a deep appreciation for what they represent: the human creativity and curiosity that built the world we live in today.

Each design celebrates hobbies that connect us as humans. In a world that's increasingly digital, these pastimes will continue to be an important way to unite us.

My hope is that each patent we sell sparks conversation about people's unique hobbies and keeps them alive.

Our Design Process

1. Selecting the Patent

We comb through millions of designs in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office archives to find pieces that capture both historical significance and beautiful design.

2. Applying Watercolor

Each patent is brought to life with period-specific watercolor, layered over the original linework. We refine colors through multiple iterations until the artwork feels true to its era.

3. Printing and Framing

Every design is made to order in our Kentucky facility using 300gsm heavystock paper and archival inks for vibrant, lasting color. Framed pieces feature solid oak frames and glass glazing.

4. Arriving At Your Door

Each order is printed, cut, and framed once you place it, ensuring a level of craftsmanship that mass production can’t replicate. Orders ship within 3–5 days and typically arrive in 7–10.
