Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return.

Because all Timeless Patents products are made to order, returns are handled with care and reviewed in accordance with the guidelines below.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Returns are accepted on all orders except Custom Patent and Wholesale orders

  • The return must be initiated within 30 days of purchase

  • Items may be returned in the original or a new shipping box

  • Proof of purchase is required

Return shipping costs are covered by Timeless Patents, meaning we offer free returns within 30 days of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at support@timelesspatents.com or initiate a return through Shopify.

If your return is approved, we will provide:

  • A return shipping label, and

  • Instructions on how and where to send your package

Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued after the returned item is received

  • Refunds may be issued to:

    • The original payment method, or

    • Store credit (customer preference)

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Exchanges

Replacements or exchanges are preferred and offered whenever possible.

We offer:

  • One complimentary exchange for an alternate size, frame selection, or product

Additional exchanges beyond the first courtesy exchange may not be accommodated.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us at support@timelesspatents.com within 14 days of delivery if your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

To help us evaluate the issue, please include photos of:

  • The damaged artwork

  • The shipping box (if visibly damaged)

  • The shipping label

Once verified, we will offer:

  • A replacement, or

  • A refund

If damage is reported more than 14 days after delivery, or if required photos are not provided, Timeless Patents reserves the right to withhold a replacement or refund.

Lost Packages

If a carrier confirms that a package has been lost in transit, we will issue:

  • A replacement, or

  • A refund

Late Deliveries

Delivery delays caused by carriers are outside of our control.

  • We do not offer compensation for late deliveries

  • Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

We do not issue refunds for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.

One complimentary reshipment for address changes may be offered at our discretion. Refunds are not available in these cases.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Custom Patent orders

  • Wholesale orders

  • Gift cards

Custom Patent orders require full payment before work begins. Once work has started, refunds cannot be issued.
